This paper collects the facts that occurred during the making of the three-piece, white, embroidered vestments of Saint Michael’s Parish Church in Jerez de la Frontera. Moreover, owing to the discovery of a manuscript by Luis de Góngora, one of the artist who contributed to its creation, brand new information about its hectic making process, which took more than fifty years, is provided.
