Abstract

This work presents a brief summary of the personal and artistic profile of Mr. Emigdio Mariani Piazza who was undoubtely one of the persons who influenced most the institucional teaching of Music in Sevilla. Unfortunately Mr. Emigdio Mariani died on December 17th 1995 when the process of its publication was under way. Let these pages be a sincere memento and homage to him along with the statement of our determination to pursue the investigation on the work of his father, Mr. Luis Mariani, yust as he wished.
