UN PLANO INÉDITO DEL PALACIO SEVILLANO DE LOS MARQUESES DE LA ALGABA

Abstract

This article presents an unpublished plan of the former palace of the Marquis of La Algaba in Seville. The plan, dating from 1860, allows us to reconstruct in some detail the general layout of this great Renaissance palace-residence prior to the introduction of numerous and irreversible structural changes at the end of the last century. This plan, and the considerable part of the palace still survi­ving, demonstrate the great artistic and architectural value of the building in the 16th and 17th centuries.
