NOTAS SOBRE PLATEROS LIMEÑOS DE LOS SIGLOS XVI-XVII (1535-1639)

Abstract

A number of years spent researching in various national and foreign archives, and in biblio­graphical sources, has brought to light a large store of information on the silversmitns who worked in the city of Lima in the afore-mentioned period. Their work, their social circums­tances, the legislation to which they were subject and the types of work they executed are other aspects dealt with in this study.
