Abstract

This article presents a project carried out in the Degree in Early Childhood Education (both face-to-face and blended learning) in which students had to create a narrative and audiovisual series of neurolinguistic content for an audience of 3 to 6-year-olds. The aim of this project was to use digital tools and resources to help increase motivation, encourage teamwork and collaboration. At the same time, it was to facilitate the study of the subject in a fun way. Thus, once the students had assimilated the theoretical content of the subject, the different groups had to invent a story, write and illustrate it and, subsequently, make a video story. However, the constructed stories had to follow a common thread because the challenge was for the whole group of students to invent a series about the human brain in the style of the famous children's series Once upon a time... life. After analyzing the responses collected, we have been able to conclude that our students affirm that it is possible to learn and acquire neurolinguistic thematic competences in mixed environments (face-to-face and virtual). Specifically, 84% stated that this activity has allowed them to reinforce the theoretical knowledge of the subject, and they rated the activity with a score of 8.9 out of 10. This suggests that the students were satisfied with the development of the project and considered it innovative and motivating.
