Submission Preparation list

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check the following list prior to submission. Papers that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to the authors.

  1. The manuscript must not have been published or submitted elsewhere for consideration. A brief explanation will be necessary to clarify this matter.
  2. Authors must have an ORCID number (https://orcid.org) to publish in the Journal and when registering on the Journal's platform they must do so with the same email address they used to register in ORCID.
  3. The submitted file must be in Microsoft Word document file format or in an Open Document file.
  4. Where available, URLs for the references must be provided.
  5. The text must be double-spaced; (a 12-point font; italics rather than underlining except for URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables must be placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  6. Title: Titles should be no more than three typeset lines.
  7. Author affiliation: Include department, institution, and complete address, with the ZIP/postal code, for each author.
  8. Corresponding author: The name, complete address, telephone number, and email address of the author should be provided along with the submitted paper.
  9. Keywords:  At least three keywords are required for each submission.
  10. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined below in the Author Guidelines.
  11. As IUS ET SCIENTIA is a peer review e-journal, the author must do his/her very best in Ensuring a Blind Review.
  12. In the case of co-authored papers, the authors must inform the editors of the journal of the criteria chosen to decide the order of signature and the specific contribution made by each of them to the published work. The contribution of each co-author to the final work must in any case be clearly specified in the text of the article in a footnote.
  13. Authors should avoid using sexist language, opting whenever possible for neutral terminology.
  14. Where appropriate, authors should footnote the source of funding used for the work they are submitting for publication in the Journal.
