The aim is to highlight the importance of specific training in order to be able to provide quality care. From the field of nursing, in accordance with the new law in force in Spain, Organic Law 3/2021, of March 24, on the regulation of euthanasia, we wish to establish a subject in the Nursing Degree, which includes all the needs, rights and obligations of patients and health
personnel at the end of life, thus contemplating the new practices that nursing professionals must administer in their workplaces. We consider that the lack of knowledge about comprehensive end-of-life care on the part of these health professionals may be the cause of not administering quality care practices, thus increasing the suffering of the patient, the family and the health personnel themselves
