In this paper we will analyse whether European consumer law is adapted to the specificities of AI-generated digital content or digital services. More specifically, we will examine the impact of quality as a criterion for assessing satisfaction and the options available to the consumer in the event that the AI-generated content or AI-generated service does not satisfy him/her. This will lead us to argue that the omission of quality as an objective conformity criterion is not justifiable and should be applied anyway, as AI is a developing technology and may not always lead to satisfactory results.
