ETHICALLY CONTROVERSIAL AREAS IN MEDICAL AND SCIENTIFIC FIELDS. SOME PROPOSALS FOR A PACIFIC REGULATION
Abstract
En las líneas que siguen se da cuenta de las áreas que se considera que han resultado éticamente más controvertidas en los ámbitos médico y científico. Se trata de la interrupción voluntaria del embarazo, la reproducción asistida, la investigación biomédica y los derechos del paciente al final de su vida. A continuación se proponen pautas para superar todo conflicto ético en su tratamiento y regulación. Concretamente, las cuatro siguientes: evitar el condicionamiento ideológico, promocionar la libertad de conciencia, legislar con respeto a la dignidad humana y ponderar tomando en consideración los intereses concurrentes jurídicamente relevantes, sin excluir ninguno y sin añadir otros ajenos a la controversia.Downloads
