About the Journal
Focus and Scope
“CRATER: Art and History” is an annual journal that publishes scientific articles within the field of humanities and its two main branches; Art and History. Its publications are understood in a transversal and multidisciplinary way, in which other areas of knowledge can converge (anthropology, architecture, sociology, artistic and visual creation, etc.).
It is proposed to work on a timeline that ranges from the Renaissance period to the present day, without being detrimental to the evaluation and acceptance of manuscripts from other historical periods that, due to their quality and scientific contribution, may represent an advance for knowledge.
Manuscripts in Spanish and English will be accepted and all will be submitted to an anonymous review system (double blind) in an academic context with national and international participation.
In “CRATER. Art and History”, we will attend to the Principles of Transparency and Best Practices in Academic Publications (COPE) and we will ensure compliance with each and every one of the points that are indicated, thereby guaranteeing the quality of the manuscripts that are published.
Publication frequency
It is set for “CRATER. Art and History” a periodicity of annual publication.
