Representaciones precolombinas de paisajes andinos: paisajes en macro (in situ) y en micro (in visu)

Abstract

The landscape is a complex reality, place in the hinge with which coincide the objective, the natural, the social and the cultural matter. This paper is a study of the representation of the Andean landscapes in the symbolizations of certain territories. In the above 55 mentioned process, the key is in the monistic, ethics, mythical and mystical vision of the Precolombian universe, so different from the analytical, aesthetic and simplistic vision of the western culture linked to the modernity. For such a motive, it is proposed that the most rigorous way to understand the Andean landscapes is in a hermeneutic reading of the same ones, which forces to contemplate them as texts that it is necessary to decipher resorting to resources as different as the description, the analogy and the metaphor that use as mediators of a complex dialog with Precolombian culture. Without falling down in the determinism, there is understood that the nature influences in these cultures and to its landscapes at the same time that these cultures act to turn out limitations into resources, but always from a reverential respect to the natural order. There is a need to adapt to what already exists, where everything has its site and they complement. The are two different landscapes scales representations: the macro (in situ) and the micro (in visu).
