Abstract

In this writing we talk, in a hermeneutical way (Gadamer), with one of the foundational texts of Philosophy for Children (PfC) which is right now a classical one: Teaching for better thinking. The classroom community of inquiry (1995). We discuss also some recent objections to PfC that we think are well solved in this text. Finally, we also included an experimental exercise of PfC using a poem as a fresh start to think with, and not the most conventional entry point: a novel.
