Abstract
M.A.S.H. was one of the first films that openly talked about the Vietnam War during the conflict itself. In this paper we propose a vision of the film from the point of view of its ideological and antimilitarist content, emphasizing its parallelism with peace movements in the United States and its relationship with the New Hollywood film movement which his director, Robert Altman, was part of
