The Holy, Art and Aesthetics: Heidegger’s gaze on Hölderlin
Keywords:
Aesthetics, Art, Heidegger, Hölderlin, HolyAbstract
This contribution aims to carry out a problematisation of the concept of holiness through the reconstruction of Heidegger’s aesthetic thought and his lectures on Hölderlin’s poetic work. The questioning of the notion of the “holy” and the consequent reflection on the ontological relationship between the holy and the poetic will be central both to a deeper analysis of Heideggerian interpretation of the poet’s poetic language and to a broader understanding of the aesthetic question in Heidegger.
