Notes on the Philosophy of Praxis 2023-12-30T15:48:48+00:00 Alejandro Sánchez Berrocal alejsa35@ucm.es
The article proposes a philosophical consideration of the idea of praxis linked to the comprehension of its role in the formation of subjectivity and political activity. The analysis is based on a study of the status of human practical activity in the transition from German idealism to historical materialism, taking as a central axis the philosophy of Antonio Gramsci. It is argued that the philosophy of praxis is inscribed in the framework of a social ontology that is concerned both with the genesis and function of the collective subject and with the regularities that enable political action in historical processes.
2023-12-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Alejandro Sánchez Berrocal https://revistascientificas.us.es/index.php/fragmentos_filosofia/article/view/25213 Integration: Articulating Axis in Isidore of Seville 2023-12-30T15:34:11+00:00 Nolo Ruiz mruizf@us.es
Integration as an objective and aspiration, the tendency toward synthesis and eclecticism emerges as a fundamental trait in the works and life of Isidore of Seville, both on a theoretical and practical level. This distinctive peculiarity also constitutes an element of interest in the research (and historical debate) regarding the originality of the Sevillian philosopher’s work. This article delves into this issue, its meaning, and implications through both the texts of the Sevillian metropolitan and the considerations of authorities in Isidorian studies.
2023-12-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Nolo Ruiz https://revistascientificas.us.es/index.php/fragmentos_filosofia/article/view/25214 The narration of a fiction: the ideological manipulation of National Socialism 2023-12-30T15:36:47+00:00 Javier Leiva Bustos Jleiva01@ucm.es
The aim of this essay is to provide with an overview of the historical manipulation that National Socialism attempted to carry out on the basis of its ideology. Starting from the Arendtian definition of «ideology» as the logic of an idea or the unfolding of a process, I will describe some of the attempts made by the Third Reich in order to reformulate its past and its present, focusing specially on a series of myths or narratives which were elaborated, such as the «myth of the Arian race», the «myth of the national community» —die Volksgemeinschaft—, the tale of the «stab in the back», its portrait about the icon of the Jew, or its purpose to eliminate the remnants of the concentration camp
2023-12-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Javier Leiva Bustos https://revistascientificas.us.es/index.php/fragmentos_filosofia/article/view/25215 Causality and chance: the question of physical determinism in Francisco Suárez 2023-12-30T15:39:55+00:00 Francisco Haro Almansa fharoa@uma.es
This paper examines the position of Francisco Suárez in the problematic of modern determinism. Particularly, whether the Suarezian theory of causality is framed within the Aristotelian (non-determinist) tradition or whether, on the contrary, his theory precedes or serves as a bridge with the determinist theories of modernity. To this end, the most relevant aspects of the Suarezian theory of efficient cause are examined for this question: the distinction between causes per se and per accidens and their relation to physical and moral causes, the requirements of a necessary cause, and the supposed determinism of natural causes without concurrence or interaction with free ones. Through an examination of these concepts, it is concluded that Suárez’s position is analogous to that of Aristotle, admitting the existence of chance as a cause per accidens
2023-12-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Francisco Haro Almansa https://revistascientificas.us.es/index.php/fragmentos_filosofia/article/view/25216 The Holy, Art and Aesthetics: Heidegger’s gaze on Hölderlin 2023-12-30T15:43:13+00:00 Danilo Serra serradanilo1991@gmail.com
This contribution aims to carry out a problematisation of the concept of holiness through the reconstruction of Heidegger’s aesthetic thought and his lectures on Hölderlin’s poetic work. The questioning of the notion of the “holy” and the consequent reflection on the ontological relationship between the holy and the poetic will be central both to a deeper analysis of Heideggerian interpretation of the poet’s poetic language and to a broader understanding of the aesthetic question in Heidegger.
2024-01-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Danilo Serra
