THE PREMISES OF MEMORY. GIORGIO COLLI’S PHILOSOPHY OF EXPRESSION AS CRITICISM OF THE HEGELIAN CONCEPT OF IMMEDIACY
Keywords:
representation, immediacy, abstraction, remembrance, conceptAbstract
Giorgio Colli´s theoretical thought is a singular exception in the context of contemporary philosophy. The crucial place assigned to the concept of immediacy by such thought, is one of the deepest reasons of its singularity. The aim of the present study is to show the way in which the epistemological centrality assumed by this concept puts in question the Hegelian negation of the primacy of the immediate knowledge, and the consequences that such refuse throws from the point of view of ontological reflection.
