Abstract

Through the reading of two posthumous fragments from 1919 and 1921 of Walter Benjamin, World and Time (Welt und Zeit) and The Meaning of Time in the Moral Universe (Die Bedeutung der Zeit in der Moralischen Welt), we are going to analize the possibility of a political-theology in his philosophy. In that way, we would like to understand what is for him Judaism and Catholicism, and the relation with the fulfillment of divine revelation or the descomposition of the world. Finally, we will try to think how these political and theological concepts have an influence in his late writings about Language, Violence and Law.
