THE TASK OF THE THINKER IN THE BOLIVIAN SOCIET

Abstract

Bolivian philosopher H. C. F. Mansilla studied political science and philosophy at German universities. Freie Universität Berlin granted him venia legendi in 1976. He was a visiting professor at universities in Australia, Brazil, Spain and Switzerland. He is a member of the Bolivian Academy of Sciences and the
Bolivian Academy of Language and corresponding member of the Royal Spanish Academy and the American Academy of the Spanish Language. Author of several books on social ecology and Latin American political-cultural traditions. H. C. F. Mansilla, in this interview, expressed his ideas on various topics of his academic career and his reflections on the responsibility of the thinker in Bolivian society.
