PROHIBITION AND TRANSGRESSION: PHILOSOPHICAL REFLECTIONS ON THE NOTION OF SACRIFICE
Keywords:
prohibition, transgression, taboo, sacrifice, festivalAbstract
Prohibition and transgression conjure a historical and tense social - instinctive relationship. On the one hand, the prohibition is based on a social logic that has managed to petrify the human impulses. On the other hand, transgression devastates the prohibition and reconciles the human being with his censored nature. Within this context the purpose of this work is to expose, from a set of converging ideas, the development and transformation of sacrifice, along with the idea of prohibition labeled as taboo, principle of reality, profane order and the Apollonian. Lastly, a temporary dissolution of the
containment is thought through the festive representation.
