Abstract

The present investigation tends to unfold the problem of a possible dualism that has been claimed in Sartre’s ontological phenomenology, in order to see how the phenomenon of corporality is presented in Being and Nothingness. In turn, as he has been one of the last great philosopher-artists, we will see how
corporality is exposed in his famous novel Nausea, connecting this with his systematic work to reach then a deeper consideration on facticity and contingence, key elements for the constitution of freedom.
