Abstract

This article explores the current debate around freedom of expression and inserts it into Isaiah Berlin's distinction between positive freedom and negative freedom. After showing the limits of conceiving negative freedom of expression, he proposes a new form of freedom of expression, a saber, the positive, that considers how to do justice when we speak and whose objective is human emancipation.
