Abstract

The Analogical Hermeneutics wants to stay equidistant from the uniqueness and ambiguity in interpretation. With its defense of analogy in epistemology, it considers that the concept (by itself ) can not understand all reality, but it does not accept the possibility of admitting all interpretations (even contradictory). Therefore, I suggest its proximity to the Metaphysics of the Expression: Nicol's historicist philosophy. Eduardo Nicol does not work in epistemic possibilities of analogy. But he continues Ortega's distrust of idealist reason: he unmasks the concept as a mere product of history, as the rationalist claim (since Parmenides) to hide the inevitable analogical source.
