Abstract
This critical review examines América Latina y el internacionalismo ginebrino de entreguerras: implicaciones y resonancias, edited by Fabián Herrera León and Yannick Wehrli, a collective volume that explores Latin American participation in the League of Nations and Geneva-based international organisations between 1919 and 1939. Structured around the dual axes of “implications” and long-term “resonances,” the book analyses the political, legal and cultural consequences of Latin America’s integration into the interwar multilateral system. The review highlights the volume’s historiographical significance, its comparative and transnational methodology, and the ways it exposes enduring tensions between sovereignty, international law and cultural diplomacy.
