Abstract
Introduction to the dossier Epidemics and historical processes; diverse approaches to Ibero-America.
This dossier, as part of the work of the Permanent Seminar on Historical and Social Studies on Endemics and Epidemics in Ibero-America (SPEHSEEI), aims to highlight the central themes of our research activity focused on the historical and social study of long-range demographic, social and geographic contagions, our main object of study and, at the same time, to account for these topics as a critical articulation of deeply historical problems that are catastrophically reproduced with the advent of each epidemic or pandemic.
