Abstract
The article focuses on the parish action of Pedro Pablo Wurschmidt, third world priest of the sugar town of San Pablo who played a unique role in the protests against the massive closure of sugar mills in the province of Tucumán in 1966. From different documents - periodic press, correspondence, parish reports, personal diary, interviews - the work seeks to reconstruct the social work of father Wurschmidt and his forms of intervention in the community.
