Abstract

The Notarial Archives in Spain as well in Latin America can offer data that complement the data of de Archive of the Indies. Above all, the information about the preparation of the voyage –the sale of properties, the financing of the voyage, the stay in Seville before embarking, etc.– the voyage itslef and the final destination form her most important contribution.
