Asian products distribution in America in the Seventeenth Century: an approximation

Abstract

From the analysis of records of deceased goods in the seventeenth century we have analyzed the distribution of Asian products both in continental America and in major port cities in the Caribbean. This study compared it with the evolutionary phases of transpacific trade and its impact on Philippine economy and New Spain.
