Abstract

The article analyzes the attitudes and reactions caused, among traders of Buenos Aires, allowing trade with neutral nations. In order to elucidate the basis of their political attitudes and corporate, analyze, from the case of the Spanish merchant Diego de Aguero, debates and confrontations as in the period 1796-1806 resulted.
