The Argentine chronicle of Ricardo Monner Sans in the comercial latin-american magazine Mercury (1903-1927)

Abstract

It describes the actions of the Catalan writer Ricardo Monner Sans, established in Buenos Aires in the last decade of the nineteenth century, that between 1903 and 1927 monthly contributed his “Chronicle Argentina” to the Ibero-American Business Magazine MERCURY of Barcelona. The main topics discussed in this article analyze Monner Sans impressions about the economic and trading between the host country and Catalonia, especially from the First World War.
