Frederic Rahola Trèmols and the Centenary of Spanish American Independences: the design of the celebration in Barcelona

Abstract

The article discusses the journalistic, literary and travelogues of Frederic Rahola Trèmols, appeared during the organization of the celebrations of the centenary of the Spanish American independence. The complex and multiple interests at stake allowed Rahola express their ideas and proposals in the pages of the Revista Comercial Iberoamericana Mercurio of Barcelona, where he was director.
