Abstract

The Centennial Book of Uruguay 1825-1925 is a useful thematic selection to know Uruguay, about socioeconomic, political and cultural affairs since the end of the 19th century, until 1925. It makes possible to arrive at deep studies no covered by historians, and allows writing a contemporary history of the period. This hierarchy repertoire of documents allow indeed, the knowledge of little known topics if it is asked methodically.
