Abstract

This article discusses wills of indigenous women as one of the ethnohistorical sources that provide important information about the survival of pre-Hispanic traditions in the colonial period. The information found in the testamentary dispositions, compared with archaeological evidence, allows to analyze different goods of both European and indigenous origin by geographical, strategic and economic value.
