Abstract

This research analyzes the time of it independence as the time of the revolution and how in all that process revolutionary is elaborated representations of the other, of them opponents political and them groups in struggle, is established debates and controversies ideological and political, that ended in what have called as the construction of the enemy. This construction in Lima, Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile press speeches concentrated interests of different social actors, contributing to the emergence of political identity which, in turn, showed what really volatile and changing it would be the political and ideological trends in a situation as complicated as they were wars of independence. In that sense, the representations and meanings attributed to the concepts of Patriot, realistic and insurgent; and them images assumed by them meanings of Republican, monarchist and revolutionary, not make more than demonstrate the use political of these words by the various groups of power. Certainly, all these representations and constructs affect warn the emergence of divergent political identities in full independence and revolutionary situation.
