Abstract
This article emphasizes the key role played by Robert Lehmann-Nitsche' s teching, both at University of Buenos Aires and National University of La Plata, in the consolidation of an anthropology degree several decades later. His contribution to local anthropological research is briefly revised, to then analyze his trajectory at University, where he not only spread the discipline among the students, but also projected it to the public sphere. Finally, there is a general assesment of the importance of this dimention of his practice.
