Abstract
Throughout History, the intention of establishing relations between two territories began with a diplomatic outpost, in which a delegation of envoys presented his Lord to the eyes of the foreign King. This mission didn‟t just carry the Monarch‟s dispatches but all kinds of presents that were used for the presentation and to overwhelm the foreign Sovereign with the King power. In last quarter of the XVI Century, Philip II of Spain saw in the vast and unknown Kingdom of China new commercials and evangelical possibilities and proposed to establish diplomatic relations with Emperor Wanli. This study analyze the embassy that was planned to initiate the contacts between Philip II and the Emperor of China and the presents that the Prudent King sent to the Eastern King as an image of the Hispanic Monarchy.
