Parafraseando aquella pregunta pythoniana que pretendía ser retórica pero terminaba en paradoja humorística, ¿qué ha hecho la sátira política por nosotros? Nos referimos a toda esa tradición satírica de la prensa española que arranca en el siglo XIX y llega hasta nuestros días. La obra El humor y la cultura política en la España contemporánea responde ofreciendo al lector una cuidada síntesis de la evolución de la sátira periodística.
