La adaptación televisiva de Crematorio. De la revisión histórica del 68 a la trama noir de la corrupción

Abstract

This paper intends to analyse the television adaptation of Crematorio, the novel published in 2007 by Rafael Chirbes. In order to do so, the structure and the plot of both the novel and the television series will be compared, and a study of the collection of the characters of both cultural products will be presented. The main aim of this paper is to expose, through these comparisons, the differences in structure and meaning that can be established between Rafael Chirbes’ novel and its adaptation into a television series and, in turn, to demonstrate how the transition from text to screen has a great influence on the ideological vision that emerges from both fictions.
