Based on the bibliographical essay La imprenta en Córdoba (1900) by José María de Valdenebro y Cisneros, this study explores the publications that came out of the printing workshops in the city of Córdoba during the 16th century with the aim of dusting off and analysing the engravings that were included in their pages. In this way, from the publications printed by Juan Bautista Escudero to those of Andrés Barrera, we will discover the themes and iconographies that were in circulation during this period.
