Reciprocity in the American independence process, the relational component of Bernardo de Monteagudo

Abstract

This article analyzes the relational dimension of Bernardo de Monteagudo, and intends to offer a new approach on the existing research, including both the main character and the emancipation progress of the spanish americas. His role in several independence scenarios in the americas is analyzed considering the links which brought them about.
