Death in the cities: a way of approach to the urban anthropology

Abstract

In this article we approached the phenomenon of how it dies in the cities, and the role of death in urban life, through the following route: the risk society, the ways of dying in the city, the risks of death in residents of the metropolitan area of the city of Mexico. Thus, we can approach to see the urban anthropology from another point of view. The methodology that was followed, in studies that gave rise to this work, is mixed. Current urbanite has resignifyed death gives you more personal and less community content, sometimes hides its importance and gives you little symbolic value by considering it as a passenger.
