El origen del archivo de la Catedral de Murcia. El inventario de 1536 / The Origin of the Cathedral of Murcia Archive. The 1536 Inventory.

Resumen

RESUMEN: En este artículo se analizan las primeras etapas del archivo de la catedral de Murcia a través de los depósitos documentales localizados en la baja Edad Media. En 1536 se construye el primer cuerpo de la torre de la catedral y se destina un espacio para el archivo. Con este motivo se redacta un inventario de las escrituras que se instalaron allí. En el artículo se da conocer dicho inventario, se hace la descripción del manuscrito, se analiza el contenido y se presenta la edición del texto, identificando los documentos e indicando su localización archivística y bibliográfica.

ABSTRACT: In this article the early periods of the Cathedral of Murcia Archive are analysed through the documentaries deposit placed in the Late Middle Ages. In 1536 it is built the first tower’s bulk of the cathedral and is allocated an area for the archive there. Due to this fact an inventory deed is written up. The article reveals that inventory, describes the manuscript, analyses the contents and presents the text edition, identifying the documents and pointing their archival and bibliographic location.
