RESUMEN: Analiza las cuentas de la armada de 1471 presentadas al concejo sevillano por el duque de Medina Sidonia. Las mismas son refl ejo del enfrentamiento político en la región y ofrecen datos sobre aspectos económicos y navales de la Baja Andalucía.
ABSTRACT: This article analyses the annual accounts of the Navy for the year 1471, presented by the Duke of Medina Sidonia to the Council of Seville. These records refl ect the political confrontations in the region at the time and offer invaluable information about the economic and naval affairs of western Andalusia.
