RESUMEN: En el presente trabajo se estudian diversos aspectos relativos a la organización de la villa de Arnedo y sus aldeas en los años finales del siglo XV y primeras décadas del XVI. Concretamente se ha prestado atención a las instituciones de poder, tanto a las emanadas de la autoridad señorial como a las propiamente concejiles, a la vez que se ha realizado una aproximación a las características de la sociedad política local de la villa y a la organización de la hacienda municipal. Para ello se han utilizado documentos de diversa procedencia, entre los que destacan varios manuscritos del Archivo Municipal de Arnedo.
ABSTRACT: This paper studies various features of the organisation of the town of Arnedo and its villages during the final years of the 15th century and the initial decades of the 16th century. Special attention is given to the institutions of power, both seigneurial and municipal. Local political society is also examined, as is the organisation of municipal finance. Documents from various sources have been used, with special attention being paid to those from the Municipal Archives of Arnedo.
