Los Guzmán, señores de Sanlúcar, en el siglo XIV

RESUMEN: Noticias sobre el linaje y los señoríos de los Guzmán, señores de Sanlúcar de Barrameda y, desde 1368, condes de Niebla, así como de su actividad política a lo largo del siglo XIV, con atención especial a la figura de don Juan Alonso de Guzmán, segundo señor de Sanlúcar, y la de su hijo del mismo nombre, primer conde de Niebla. Estudio especial de la sucesión y testamento de éste último y del de su segunda mujer, Doña Beatriz de Castilla, hija de Enrique II. Aspectos de la vida política y religiosa de Sevilla relacionados con la figura y actividad de estos nobles.
ABSTRACT: Information relating to the lineage and lordships of the Guzmans, Lords of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, and from 1368, Earls of Niebla, and also relating to their political activity during the 14th century, with special attention being given to the figure of Juan Alonso de Guzmán, 2nd Lord of Sanlúcar, and to his son, also Juan Alonso de Guzmán, 1st Earl of Niebla. Special study of the succession and testament of the latter and of his second wife, Beatriz of Castile, daughter of Enrique II. Aspects of political and religious life in Seville, in relation to these nobles.
