ABSTRACT: Little has been known of the biography of Pablo de céspedes. For this reason, the discovery of documents proving his purity of blood is of supreme importance. He was obliged to undergo the formality in order to enter the chapter of the cathedral in Córdoba. From these documents, we have been able to obtain information regarding his immediate family and his place of origin. We have also been able to discover more about his career as an artist of prestige through his access to positions of social relevance.
