Comercio exterior del Reino de Sevilla a través de los manuales de mercaderías italianos bajomedievales.

RESUMEN: El desarrollo de los manuales de mercadería en la Península Itálica puso a disposición de quienes tenían acceso a ellos información sobre los principales centros comerciales y financieros de la europa bajomedieval. Centrados sobre todo en el mediterráneo y los Paises bajos, el presente artículo analiza la posición ocupada por el reino de sevilla en estos textos, que desde la óptica italiana se confirma como el principal centro mercantil de la corona de castilla, eje de una extensa red comercial que abarcaba desde bizancio y el magreb hasta Flandes, pasando por Italia y la corona de Aragón.
ABSTRACT: The evolvement of the pratiche di mercatura in the Italian Peninsula permitted access to information relating to the principal commercial and financial centres in medieval europe, which were located mainly on the mediterranean and in the Low countries. This article analyses the relevance of the Kingdom of seville in these texts. We will see that the Italians considered seville to be the main centre of trade in castile, and to be the hub of an extensive commercial network that stretched from byzantium and the maghreb to Flanders, and included Italy and Aragon.
