Introduction to Dasein-analysis. Vectors for Heideggerian psychotherapy in the 21st century
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article presents the fundamentals of Daseinsanalysis as a psychotherapeutic approach inspired by the thinking of Martin Heidegger. Starting from a critique of modern technology and the objectification of human beings, it discusses the restoration of authentic existence, care (Sorge) and freedom as central to clinical practice. Daseinsanalysis does not seek quick fixes or technical solutions, but creates a space for phenomenological listening, where patient and therapist explore together the meanings of existence. Topics such as language, finitude, responsibility, and the role of the therapist as a facilitator of a movement of openness and singularisation are addressed. Thus, the clinic becomes a space for unveiling the self, marked by the co-emergence of meaning, authenticity, and existential transformation.
