The art as savior. Reflections on the aesthetic annotations of the Black Notebooks
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study analyzes the annotations related to art and aesthetics of the German philosopher Martin Heidegger from the notes and reflections of his Black Notebooks (Schwartze Hefte). The concern for inquiring and thinking about the work of art occupies a very relevant dimension in the philosophical life of the Meßkirch thinker, probably due to his interest in finding a way of thinking or knowing that would critically question our dying modernity or, perhaps, to find a knowledge that escaped the power and influence of modern technique and contributed in an original way to the glimpse of the truth.
There are not many annotations related to art and beauty contained in the Black Notebooks, however, they are very important for the understanding of many art phenomena of our time.
