processes of literary creation from the correspondence between María Cegarra and Carmen Conde from 1932 to 1935

Abstract

The objective of this article is the study of the letters exchanged between María Cegarra and Carmen Conde during the period from 1932 to 1935 with the intention of characterizing the poetics deployed by Cegarra in Cristales míos, whose gestation is taking place in these years. Secondly, we will show the importance of Carmen Conde's assessments of that composition process, determining factors in the final form of the collection of poems in different aspects. Finally, we will see how the epistolary exchange offers us a literary magma that is formed in the heat of the permanent dialogue between the two authors and that, finally, gives rise to artistic products of a diverse nature.
