Presentation

This Web is dedicated entirely to the journal Cuadernos sobre Vico, published by the Vico Research Center (CIV) and the University of Seville Publishing House (formerly the University of Seville Publications Secretariat). The first annual issue was published in 1991, and to this day it has been published uninterruptedly in a printed edition on paper, while, since issue 17/18 (2004-2005), also in a digitized edition on the Magazine Portal from the University of Seville.

The purpose of this web page, linked to the generic CIV, is to offer the interested researcher and scholar the necessary information and the digitized content of all the volumes of the journal openly and at no economic cost (in the terms included in the section Legal Notice, at the bottom of this page), intended for exclusively research and/or academic uses. The digitized edition allows access to the complete summaries of each number and download in pdf the disaggregated files of articles of interest. But its structure also allows adding all the content of the number, including covers, covers, staff, etc., in order to be able to continuously view (file after file) the complete volume following its original pagination.

Cuadernos sobre Vico maintains a notable record of quality of collaborators and collaborations (see General Summary by authors), and has a recognized international prestige. This is reflected not only in the 'staff' of the magazine (Directory), but also in the very positive reviews it obtains in specialized fields and in its reception in main international repertoires and databases. The Directorate of the Journal trusts that this presence on the Internet will serve to reach a greater number of scholars and to allow a more comfortable availability of research materials.

The Journal dedicated to the study of the thought and work of Giambattista Vico (1668-1774), although always open to new research guidelines, will also continue to be published on paper, without renouncing its original format and its classic mode of corporeal presence. on library shelves.
